Company Watch
As part of the Consumer Safety Coalition’s mission, we track and monitor companies that have received extensive coverage in the media and among regulatory agencies for their practices and complaints. The CSC investigates and conducts its own research when necessary and provides updates to our members.
The companies we are currently monitoring include:
- Takata Corp: Japanese manufacturer of faulty automotive air bag systems that killed and injured consumers
- Volkswagen: German automaker accused of falsifying auto emissions data for diesel cars that allowed for increased levels of harmful pollution
- Mylan: Drug manufacturer imposing significant price hikes in EpiPen drug delivery device threatening accessibility to consumers
- Reckitt Benckiser: British conglomerate subject of several lawsuits over misleading labelling and drug pricing and criticized for drug price hikes on anti-opioid medication
This watch list changes as companies change their practices or reach settlements with regulatory agencies. We invite and encourage consumers to add to the watch list with their own recommendations.
